Meet Erin Davenport
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Supervised by Karen Shafer, LPC-S
Hi, I'm Erin Davenport, and I'm so glad you're here. Reaching out for support can be incredibly difficult. I know that not only as a therapist, but as a therapy client myself. My path has been shaped by love, resilience, and a deep commitment to helping others navigate life with greater clarity, compassion, and confidence. I truly believe I was created to do this work.
As an LPC-Associate, I bring both professional training and lived experience into the therapy room. I show up as my full self, including the curious, genuine, and sometimes goofy parts, and invite you to do the same. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and accepted exactly as you are. I believe therapy helps us learn the emotional language many of us were never taught to understand. Often, our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and stress responses are trying to tell us something important long before we fully recognize it. Therapy can help bring those patterns into awareness, strengthen self-understanding, and support meaningful, lasting change.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my husband and adult children, listening to audiobooks, watching movies, holding my dog, and finding reasons to laugh. I remain committed to lifelong growth and learning, both personally and professionally.
If you're looking for a steady, supportive place to work through what's weighing on you, I would be honored to walk alongside you. My work is supervised by Karen Shafer, LPC-S
